SCHOOL HOLIDAY ACTIVITIES FOR EASTER
SPLASH
Splash is a funding received from the Youth Justice Service to help entertain young people between the age of 9 and 13 during the school holidays. The idea is that if a child and young person has somthing interesting to do they will not be bored and cause a nuisance or commit a crime.
The Morawelon and London Road Partnership secured this funding and there will be fun activities for the children and young people from the Morawelon and London Road area during the summer holidays.
The activities will start on Monday the 19th of July until Friday 20th August 2010. Sessiona are FREE to children aged 9-11 years from the Morlo area.
One day a week, we will be running Senior Splash sessions, on a trial basis, for young people aged 11-14 only.
Consent forms are required to be filled for every child or young person who wishes to attend the activities and these forms are available at Morlo Office, Gwelfor. Please return the consent form by Friday the 16th of July 2010.
Due to popular demand the acivities are run on first come firat serve basis. With regards to trips, only 30 children will be allowed to attend and allocation of places is based on attendance at other activities during the week.
Children need to meet in Gwelfor before each session starts but please do not allow your child to be too early as we will not be responsible. During lunch time the children will have to return home as we are not covered by insurance. This will be between 12noon and 1pm, unless otherwise stated.
For any further information please contact Morlo staff on 765119 or 7658000.
